Magical Sky Princess

I have reciently returned from a short trip on Princess’s new ship Sky Princess.  We sailed from Trieste in Italy to Athens.

Sky Princess is a Medallion ship.  These ships are the most innovative at sea at the moment.  Forget about your room key card, thats so last year, on the Medallion ships you get, well, a medallion on a lanyard which you wear about your person and this is used to add anything purchased on board and it actually unlocks your door as you approach your stateroom! There is a lcd display outside your room which actually welcomes you to your cabin.

With this feature too you download an app on your phone and you can view your on board account, by adding names and cabin numbers you can add in friends on board and this app will locate your friends wherever they are (they have to approve this too though) , you can order drinks and food to be delivered to you pretty much anywhere on the ship and you can ever have a flutter on the app which links you to the Casino on board while you are relaxing by the pool catching some rays.

Also the internet as sea is aaamazing.  I have alway had gripes about ships internet which was really expensive and rarely worked in the middle of the ocean, however Princess’s internet works, even if you are in the middle of the ocean you could facetime friends and family and catch up on social media and answer emails very easily.

There is far too much to tell you on just one blog so i will be posting a few about Princess and the Sky Princess.  I said #hitosky and I was not dissappointed at all.
