My Caribbean Cruise Continued!

Hi, hope you are all coping with this beautiful weather we are having at the moment.

As most of you know me and my sister sailed around the Caribbean last November on the Celebrity Equinox. We had such a fantastic time, met some amazing people, the ship was beyond expectations and to top it all off we visited some breathtaking places.

I thought I would share a few of our experiences in some of the amazing places we visited!

First port of call was Charlotte Amalie, St Thomas.
St Thomas is home to some amazing beaches, gorgeous landscapes and remains the capital of the commercial trade of the Caribbean, offering some unbelievable duty-free shopping. The morning we sailed into St Thomas the weather was not the best, it was quite cloudy and raining, but it was still very warm.

We got off the ship about 8.30am, jumped on to a transfer coach to the shopping centre. We had a bit of a mooch around checking out the shopping malls which was interesting, lots of little shops offering all sorts of duty-free and some good deals to have.

We mooched about for about 2 hours but the weather was getting worse, it was pouring down so we decided to jump a taxi and head back to the ship.

Shame we didn’t get to see any beaches at St Thomas especially one of the most beautiful beaches on the Island which is Magens Bay Beach, Noted as one of the world’s most beautiful beaches by both Conde Nast and National Geographic it is a must-see, hopefully the next time we visit this is one place I will definitely be venturing to.

My next adventure is going to be at St Croix, US Virgin Islands, so keep an eye out for my next update!
