Cruising The Caribbean!

Guadalupe - Antilles Islands Seascape Wit Wild Island

As most of my regular clients know on the 04th November I was flying off to Miami to meet the Celebrity Equinox for an 11-night cruise around the Caribbean.

Goodness myself and my sister were so excited we were like two little children travelling for the first time ever haha.

This will be my first cruise on the Equinox and I was so looking forward to experiencing her, my sister had never even cruised before so you can imagine how excited she was too.

Before we travelled I had pre-booked our drinks packages for when we get on board so at least that is one worry out of the way. I know it is quite expensive to do but being honest it makes life so much easier.

A tip for you, if you have not got a drinks package Included on your cruise, did you know that Celebrity offers a Standard drinks package.

When I looked on our cruise planner, Celebrity offers a Standard drinks package which is cheaper than the Classic and still includes wines, a few cocktails, beers, water and fountain drinks. This was ideal for us because I only drink wine and my sister drinks vodka. It works out about £100 per person less than the Classic, so worth a look.

By the time you get to read this blog which will be the 12th November we would have already visited Miami, Charlotte Amalie, St Thomas, United States Virgin Islands, Antigua, Barbados and today we will be porting in St Lucia. The rest of our Itinerary is St Marten then we will be sailing back to Miami.

On our last day, our return flight does not leave Miami till about 7 pm in the evening so Celebrity have supplied us with a day room at the Sheraton Hotel at Miami airport.

When I get back I will update you all so keep an eye out on my blog!

See you all soon and I hope it isn’t too cold in the UK when we get back!
