Happy 60th Birthday To My Bestie !!

I just wanted to wish one of my oldest and dearest friends Mike, everyone else knows him as Checkit, a massive Happy 60th Birthday.

We have been very friends for well over 30 years, goodness I have known him since I was 18 years old, so a very long time. We have enjoyed some mad crazy nights partying together over the years. Enjoyed so many laughs it’s unreal. He is one of the nicest and most genuine guys you would ever meet, Mike is just a total Legend !

So to kick start his 60th birthday celebrations off, last Saturday all our old crew met up at the Refuge in Manchester. I arrived at about 3.30pm and by 4.30pm everyone else had arrived ready to party and celebrate Mike’s 60th Birthday in style. Goodness there were so many people that turned up that I have not seen in so many years it was fabulous catching up.

Aww the day was just glorious, the sun was shining and to top it all off, the Refuge has a dancing area outside so lots of dancing, chatting and drinking. It was so nice meeting up with so many people I have not seen in so many years and to top it all off Mike was having a fantastic night. They also have a club down stairs which was just fab so we all pilled into the club after the bar had shut and i didn’t leave till about 1.30am in the morning, my feet were killing me with all the dancing hahaha.

Sunday just gone, myself and Caroline ( our other best friend )  had organised to go for a meal in Cheadle, Manchester,  for Mikes birthday. But all didn’t go to plan, we all met up at 3.30pm in Cheadle,  but with the weather being so glorious we ended up at David Lloyd’s in Cheadle, where they have a massive pool and bar, so instead we sunbathed, enjoyed a few drinks and some chill out time to catch up around the pool.
