Thomson Cruises Are Firm Favourites!

With so many ships to choose from these days, it can be really hard for a customer to decide what is right for them. Ships are getting bigger and have a wide range of unique facilities on board to make them stand out from the competition. However, after speaking to many customers recently, Thomson Cruises remain a firm favourite by many and here is why.

One of the first things that customers comment about is the entertainment on board and how fantastic it is!! Whether you are in the show lounge watching a West End style show or enjoying stand up comedy or a live gig you are definitely in for a great night. My first cruise was a Thomson ship and I too loved the entertainment. There was so much choice it was great. One of my favourite nights was the  sail away deck party. Having a few drinks & listening to live music while you sail away from the harbour. What a way to start your holiday! I can understand why customers have said that the Thomson Cruises Entertainment Team are the best that they have ever seen as the performances are so professional and polished.

There is plenty to do during the day too. If you want to make the most of your ship and don’t fancy an excursion, why not spend the day relaxing around the swimming pool, head to the gym or treat yourself with some retail therapy. You can even join in with cocktail making and wine tasting sessions.  So much choice .. want to know more?

Another great factor to the Thomson Cruises is the wide choice of Destinations they cover. Need some winter sunshine? Then why not head over to the Caribbean with Thomson Dream where you can really explore Havana as it overnight’s in Port. Take a lift to the top of Jose Marti Memorial in Revolution Square to capture amazing views of the city. Or explore at night when the city comes alive and filled with salsa music.

Another port of call that Thomson Dream takes in during the Caribbean itinerary is Montego Bay, Jamaica. I love this island. One of my favourite excursions was Dunn’s River Fall. Here you can climb the falls to the top with fellow guests, holding hands and forming a human chain. Really good fun and a great way to see the falls.

In Summer the ships are based from Palma, Majorca , Corfu , Turkey and Dubrovnik. Whether you just want  to cruise or opt for a cruise and stay there is plenty of choice and a wide range of accommodation to suit everyone’s taste. Visit the ancient walls and cobble streets of Dubrovnik. Sample to golden beaches of Corfu or try a traditional Turkish bath in Marmaris-Turkey.

There are so many ports of call that the Thomson ships visit during their winter and summer months so the hardest part is what itinerary to pick!

If you have cruised with Thomson, I would love to here from you about your experiences.
