Virgin’s Scarlet Lady on sale now! The ship that will be quirky and fun, what do you think?

Virgin’s first ship and ‘adult only’ will sail from Miami in 2020 with her inaugural season around the Caribbean.

So what does she have in store?

The intended vibe is that once onboard you will be stress-free, have time to relax, revitalize and maybe have some opportunities to meet like-minded travellers.

The interior and public areas will not be what I would call ‘traditional cruising’ and will certainly be different from the likes of Cunard!

There will even be a ‘Tattoo Studio’ onboard called ‘Squid Ink’ where guests can treat themselves to a tattoo, body piercing or even a permanent make-up treatment.

Virgin announced that there will be a ‘Virgin Twist’ with no stuffy formalities, boring buffets and no main dining rooms’.  There will be no traditional supplements levied when dining in speciality restaurants and all eateries onboard will have been created to ‘offer exceptions made to order treats’, as Virgin ‘does not believe in paying more for great food’.

‘Razzle Dazzle’ will give ‘vibrant and creative twists’ to vegetarian food and juices with guests also treated to a Drag Bunch, with performances by Scarlet Lady’s resident drag performers and friends.

The Scarlet Lady will have 78 RockStar Suites with Mega RockStar ones located on Deck 15; the latter includes a personalised bar filled with customers’ favourite drinks.

In addition, there will be:

-2 Fab Suites

-2 Posh Suites

-9 Gorgeous Suites

-18 Brilliant Suites,

-14 Cheeky Corner suites

-24 Seriously Suites

-7 Sweet Aft Suites

Relaxing outside areas.

Her first destination will be the Caribbean with an opportunity to experience ‘Havana After Dark’ with overnight stays on its four and five-night cruises.  I have experienced this and can tell you more!

As you can see Scarlet Lady is offering something a little bit different and over the next months I will share more of what this new ship will offer guests.

What do you think of the Scarlet Lady?

Will you sail on her?
