Southampton 2021… Fit for a Princess

Princess Cruises has revealed the biggest European season for 2021 with three ships based in the UK.

It will be an exciting year for Princess with 3 beautiful ships offering new itineraries sailing from Southampton. Grand Princess, Island Princess and Crown Princess will be based in the UK for 2021, summer 2020 we have Island Princess, Crown Princess and Royal Princess.

The Increased Southampton departures come as a welcome addition to many and the new itineraries are what faithful cruisers have wanted for a long time.

Grand Princess will be sailing from April to November 2021 offering a mix of Mediterranean, Northern Europe and the ever-popular Canada & New England. She was refurbished in march of this year, she has 2600 guests and has some great dining venues. In March 2020 she will become part of the Princess Medallion Class which is offering guests a more personalised experience for their journey. This exclusive programme to Princess Cruises is getting great feedback, its a small device called an Ocean Medallion that you can wear in a variety of ways. Speeding up your check-in in the procedure, to opening cabin doors (without having to find that keycard!) Wherever you are onboard you can order food and drinks and goods from the shop to be delivered personally to you. Something that would be very useful for myself and my lack of coordination  .. it can direct you to where you want to go and even find your friends/family on board. You can also connect to apps and play Interactive games around the ship 🙂

Island Princess will be offering the Mediterranean and Northern Europe with some great longer durations such as a 24 day Grand European Explorer, sailing to Spain, Italy Greece, Turkey, Portugal, Isreal and Malta. Slightly smaller than the Grand Princess, she has 2200 guests and was refurbished in December 2017. Island Princess was voted the best cruise ship for service. In December 2020 she will become part of the Princess Medallion Class.

Crown Princess voted one of the best large ships will be staying with us for the 2021 season. Refurbished just last year she has 3080 guests and is already part of the Princess Medallion class fleet. Crown Princess has the much loved British Isles cruises on 12-night durations these are very popular itineraries with selected sailings offering free onboard spend if booked before the 3rd of September 2019.

European sailings for 2021 will go on sale from the 14th of August and with the £1pp deposits being offered there should be no reason to miss out 🙂
