Be prepared to be entertained on Harmony

The countdown is now well underway for the launch of Royal Caribbean’s new ship, and sister to the Oasis and Allure of the Seas – Harmony of the Seas. She will be sailing from Southampton on a 4 night, then 3 night cruise, then sails over to Barcelona where she will be based for the Summer.

Royal Caribbean have been giving us little snippets as to what to expect from there newest ship – a ten storey slide which will start on deck 16 and finish on deck 6, there will also be 3 water slides,  there will still be a Royal Promenade as you would expect to find on a Royal Caribbean ship.

They have also announced that the musical which will be shown on the Harmony of the Seas is going to be Grease, they will have the original choreography, costumes and also aerial elements. For this ship they have also created their own musical called Colombus the Musical and is based around a fictitious character called Marvin Colombus who is down on his luck and has been  banished from his families kingdom so sets sail on a voyage of discover, and who is also a distant cousin of Christopher.

As this is an Oasis class ship there is also going to be 2 new shows, shown at the Aqua-theater and these will be called the Fine line and also hideaway heist. There will also be the ice skating rink on board – studio B  , and again 2 new shows one called 1887 and the other is the i skate showcase.

If that isn’t enough to keep you entertained there will also be the puzzle break room – Escape the Rubicon, a Red Party, and two new events on the Royal Promenade which will be Totally Awesome 90’s and Let’s Celebrate.  The stowaway piano will also be popping up around the ship.

I have booked to sail on the 22nd May – 4 nights sailing and have to say am very excited but don’t think I will get to get round the whole ship or get to see all the shows.
