Drinks and gratuities are on Royal Caribbean for a limited time

The start of a new month always brings new promotions with the cruise lines to try to attract cruisers to book with them over their competitors, and this month’s (August) is going to be no different. Sometimes when I listen to the webinars giving us the latest campaigns I sometimes think well that’s nothing new and either they have done that before or have copied another cruise lines offers, that campaign wouldn’t make me book with that cruise line over another, but sometimes there might be one that would make me sit up and listen. This month’s campaign for Royal Campaign has certainly got me thinking wow that is a fabulous offer and certainly think its going to be a busy month for them.

So what is so great about this campaign over any other cruise lines –  well for the first time Royal Caribbean are offering on their sailings from the UK: Anthem, Explorer & Brilliance of the Seas:  April 2015 – October 2015, from Europe: Allure, Rhapsody, Splendour, Serenade & Vision of the Seas:  April 2015 – November 2015, and for their Caribbean sailings 2014/2015 Sailings in the Caribbean – Adventure, Allure, Freedom, Independence & Oasis of the Seas:  October 2014 – December 2015 (excluding transatlantics) ………………… ALL INCLUSIVE. Yes thats correct All inclusive so for adults they will receive The Select Drinks Package which includes the Soda Package includes Beer, Wines by the glass (up to $8 value), Non-Alcoholic cocktails (includes frozen non-alcoholic drinks), Fountain Soda with souvenir cup. Room Service & minibar are not included – you would expect to normally book this at a cost of $40 per person per day. And for guests under the age of 18 sailing round Europe and under 21 from North America they will receive The Soda Package which includes unlimited Fountain Soda with souvenir cup

.
Other exciting benefits of booking on an applicable sailing during this campaign is that Royal Caribbean will also prepay your gratuities – normally this can be a bone of contention with guests as some like to prepay others prefer to do their own . So this will ease all of those issues and the value is approx £7.50 per person per day. And if that wasn’t enough if you book with me this month I will also give you some on board credit to spend on whatever you wish – spa treatments, in the shops on the Royal Promenade or even Shore excursions Having cruised with Royal Caribbean I know how quickly your drinks bill can suddenly increase so think this is an absolutely fantastic campaign. On average a glass of wine is $8 and a beer is approx $6

Many of you will know from reading my blogs I tend to book my cruises on a late deal, as for me its all about the price so i can go on more cruises in a year, but even this campaign has got me reaching for my 2015 brochure and flicking through looking at what itineraries are on offer. In my opinion Royal Caribbean have come out with one of their strongest ever campaigns for the next two months and I think  this will certainly make Royal Caribbean a very strong contender for market share especially for the Europe sailings. So whats stopping you from booking your next cruise with Royal Caribbean? Does this campaign make you want to book your next cruise with Royal Caribbean?
