Azura here I come

Whilst you are reading this I will be on my own cruise onboard the Azura for 7 nights and we set sail on Saturday 27th April. What started off as a cheap quiet getaway for me and my husband has now resulted in the trip actually being a family cruise with my mum, dad, sister, and her husband and their 2 and a half-year-old daughter (and it will be her first cruise).

I have been allocated a balcony on C deck so hoping for some nice weather so I can lie out on it with a book and watch the sea go by. C Deck is the deck where the balconies are most sought after due to them being bigger in size and can lie on them rather than just sitting with your knees hitting the glass.

The cruise is from Southampton and my itinerary is:

Southampton, United Kingdom 27APR19 SAT Embark
PIER: Mayflower Cruise Terminal         CHECK IN STARTS AT 0100P
At Sea 28APR19 SUN
Rotterdam (tours toAmsterdam), Neth 29APR19 MON In Port
Arrive early morning                               Depart early evening
Zeebrugge, Belgium 30APR19 TUE In Port
Arrive early morning                               Depart early evening
At Sea 01MAY19 WED
Cherbourg, France 02MAY19 THU In Port
Arrive early morning                               Depart early evening
St Peter Port, Guernsey, UK 03MAY19 FRI In Port
Arrive early morning     TENDER REQUIRED           Depart early evening
Southampton, United Kingdom 04MAY19 SAT Disembark
PIER: Mayflower Cruise Terminal

Our current plans are to take the hop on hop off bus around Rotterdam, go to the Aquarium in Cherbourg, go into Bruges for waffles and buy some chocolate as although we have done this many times my brother in law hasn’t been to Bruges, and then if we are able to tender into Guernsey will be just to have a wander around St Peters port – so far not many ships have managed to dock this year.

I am also hoping to see the Astonishing show which is the magic and illusion show created by Stephen Mulhern (on Britain’s got more talent and more recently in for a penny tv show) – I will hopefully be writing about this next time.

Have a great couple of weeks

Kerry xx
