Jenna’s Cruise Jaunts

NCL All Inclusive changing again!

NCL launched Premium All-Inclusive back in April 2017 for the UK and Irish market with the option to include unlimited premium drinks, bottled water, service charges, and gratuities. There is also another fare option called Just cruise which includes tips and nothing else, the negative of this is that you don’t have the choice of cabin number and the feedback I have had from customer is that the people who possibly wouldn’t use a drinks package to its full advantage were being penalised in no being able to choose their preferred location & cabin number.

Well, this is all about to change………

Norwegian are wanting to give its customers the freedom of choice, based on a 7-9 night cruise if you pay £99pp you can choose from two benefits,

This is how the overall pricing will look for different durations and is applicable to Studio through to Mini- Suite categories only. Customers booking The Haven By Norwegian®, Concierge Stateroom or a Suite
will receive all applicable benefits at no additional cost.

1-6 nights £49pp

7-9 nights £99pp

10-13 nights £149pp

14-17 nights £199pp

18+ nights £249pp

It makes me wonder how this will affect pricing, quite a lot of the time the just cruise option with tips included was much cheaper and benefited those who didn’t feel they would have great use of the additional benefits by upgrading, and when I say much cheaper I mean sometimes £900pp cheaper.

This will be interesting, what are your thoughts on this ?
