Are you frizzing me on ????

To frizz or not to frizz that is the question ?straightners

I recently had a customer who I booked on her first cruise with her husband on board MSC Sinfonia.

Everything was fine and dandy, she was so excited when she received her tickets but this excitement soon turned to frustration.

WHAT NO STRAIGHTENERS OR CURLING TONGS, A GIRLS WORST NIGHTMARE !!!

I called MSC to confirm this and yes it was true, my customer who suffered from the dreaded frizzy hair syndrome couldn’t take her straighteners on-board. What am i going to do she asked ?? she then told me she would have never booked with MSC if she had known this. In the end she calmed down and decided that a few trips to the on board salon wouldn’t burst the budget. On her return I gave her a call to see how things went, she told me that she only made one trip to the salon as the prices where really expensive and they even charged for a spray of hairspray!! in the end she just had to deal with her frizzy hair the best she could and not let this ruin her cruise she worked hard for.

I can totally see why MSC wouldn’t allows straighteners or tongs on-board, It’s thought 650,000 house fires in he UK have been caused by a hair straightener.

So where is the line, why do some cruise lines like Royal Caribbean allow it ? are MSC just trying to make more money and praying on a woman’s desire to have nice hair ? would you take the risk of having your straighteners confiscated at check in knowing you will never get them back. I would imagine people do risk it and slip through the net.

I would love to hear your thoughts on this ladies and maybe even some gentlemen ?
