Has Spring Sprung??

What on earth is going on with the weather?! Only a few weeks ago we were seeing minus temperatures with a dash of snow and this week we’re well in to double figures and the sun has got his hat on. Its bananas.

Yesterday I woke up to the sound of lawn mowers, its almost like its catching. After my morning cup of tea I dug out the trusty mower, topped her up with fuel and I set about mowing the lawn, seeding the needy parts and before I knew it Id spent all day tidying the garden. In a vest top and trousers. In February!!!!

The weather also got me thinking about a holiday. We haven’t had too bad a winter this year (so far, remember the Beast from the East?) but I always like to go away to thaw out from the winter and hopefully time it right to come home to the start of warmer days back home but often I speak to clients who are the opposite. The warm weather at home often stalls their plans for travelling as they feel they would prefer to spend their time at home while the weather is good and go away when it starts to drop off and turn cold and miserable.

I see the logic. Its a good plan, if the weather behaves of course. What if you don’t book a trip away only to find the anticipated ‘heat wave’ summer is actually a wash out? Id be really cross with myself!!

There are literally hundreds of fantastic cruise deals around at the moment just waiting to be snapped up. Not just for the summer but for the spring, autumn and winter right the way through to the end of 2020 if you want to get organised that far in advance.

Where would you go? Well Caribbean, Asia and Dubai for example are beautiful destinations to visit November through to March. Long dry days and temps in to the 30’s will surely keep away those winter blues. The Med of course is always a winner in the summer months, there is everything from beachy days to castles, cathedrals, pavements lined with shops.

Got me going now see. My brain is well in to ‘lets get something booked’ mode. There’s a world out there folks…. where will you go next?
