What to do in Dubai? Follow me on Facebook this week…….

If Dubai is a destination on your tick list then maybe I can offer some inspiration this week as I head off to Dubai tomorrow for an action packed 5 nights of adventure.

Flying from Manchester on the A380 Airbus with Emirates I arrive Wednesday morning where I will be lucky enough to call Atlantis The Palm Hotel my home for 4 nights. Atlantis opened in September 2008, the very first resort hotel located on the Palm. All 1,539 rooms are nautically themed in either the East or the West Tower, linked together by the infamous Royal Bridge Suite, and at $16000 a night you can follow in the footsteps of Kim Kardashian who has also stayed here.

Atlantis a 5* luxury resort hotel where the things to do list is endless. Discover the Aquaventure waterpark, swim with Dolphins at Dolphin Bay, cuddle the Sea Lions at Sea Lion Point or be happier in water at the lost chambers Aquarium. These are just the very tip of the iceberg at Atlantis.

So my itinerary for the coming week…………………….. I will give you a full update on my return but for live feeds and daily updates you can follow me on Facebook by clicking on the

Wednesday 1st may

After breakfast I will be heading off to the waterpark for a couple of hours, now if you are a thrill seeker then this is definitely for you.  With over 17 fun filled slides and rivers and also housing over 65,000 marine animals you will need at least one day to experience it all. You can purchase a 2 day pass here for AED250 which is approx £50 per person so great value

In the afternoon I will be experiencing Aqua Trek – Using a special helmet i will see how it feels to breath and walk underwater whilst enjoying being surrounded by rays, sharks and stunning colorful fish. Not for the fainthearted but a must do! Watch this space…..

Wednesday evening I will be dining in Nobu, another first for me and a restaurant serving the most exquisite Japanese Food.

Thursday is spent at Nasimi Beach which houses Dubai’s hottest beach club and restaurant. At 34Degrees yes hot will definitely be the order of the day. Offering fantastic cocktails , fabulous food with the sounds of the local DJ definitely a great way to relax and take in the crystal clear waters.

Thursday evening will be spent at the amazing At.mosphere restaurant sitting on floor 122 of the worlds tallest building Burg Khalifa. With breathtaking views of the Arabian Gulf At.mosphere boasts a critically acclaimed menu of exclusive creations.

Friday Morning is a Dhow Cruise Experience ,  where I will be cruising around Dubai Marina  seeing the sights from the water .

Friday Afternoon will be shopping time at the Mall followed by a Dune Bashing experience with dinner late afternoon into evening.. Not for the faint hearted by any stretch but definitely a must do if you are seeking adventure dinner is included on this tour so I am really looking forward to the experience.

Saturday morning includes a city tour of Dubai before I head off to the port to sea Royal Caribbeans brand new ship Spectrum of the Seas. Royal Caribbeans very first ship in Quantum Ultra Class. With all the wows and wonders you know from the Quantum Class ships, Spectrum has been given an extra sprinkle of delights to make her Ultra special. Including the Skypad, Splashaway Cafe, Sichuan Red, Teppanyaki and the Noodle bar and so much more will be revealed when I am on board.

So I will say Bon Voyage for now and I will either catch up with you via Facebook or update you on my return.
