Fancy Spending a Night on Selingan Turtle Island Borneo?

Well now you can, on one of our most extraordinary Bucket List trips to date!  A fantastic experience and a privilege to many. On Turtle Island you will have the most unique experience and whilst visiting you will also be contributing to the conservation into rescuing the endangered turtles.

You can be your own Robinson Crusoe where you will find yourself on a somewhat desert island (Turtle Island) where after dinner silently watching the turtles lay their eggs on the beach, before retiring to your rustic chalet on the island itself.

The reviews of this island and the whole experience are amazing, people have been visiting and staying on the island for years, so much so that it will create magical memories forever.

The following morning you will be transferred back to the mainland Sandakan, about an hours boat ride, where you will spend another unique day at the Sepilok Orangutang Rehabilitation Center. Opened in 1964 this first rehabilitation center started a project to rescue baby Orangutans from logging sites, plantations, illegal hunting or actually being kept as pets. They have done truly amazing work over the last 45 years. For the Orangutangs who call this home they have 15 square miles of swingable vines, snackable treeshoots and perfect nest building material . The focus for them is the feeding area, where twice a day on a raised platform , fruit is laid out for them.
