Wedding bells are in the air…………

Well after 17 months of waiting the time is finally here and I am so excited I could pop honestly. As you are reading this I will be taking a few days off from work after a manic busy August, however it won’t be much of a restful break as while I am off my only daughter is getting married to her partner of 10 years. As neither of my two sons are showing any interest in getting married I think I need to make the most of these nuptials.

The wedding is at a fabulous local venue called Bordesley Park Farm. The actual ceremony will take place in a converted barn and then the reception will be held in a beautiful marquee which overlooks the wonderful Worcestershire countryside. Fingers crossed for good weather so we can make the most of the lovely outdoor area – I am hoping we are not all restricted to inside the marquee! The forecast is looking good so far so lets hope there are no drastic changes.

Next time I post I will hope to have some photos to share with you. I have made a huge effort to get myself in shape for this wedding and have managed to lose over 3.5 stone so I am looking forward to slipping into my wedding outfit which is considerably smaller than anything I would have worn 12 months ago. I am going to feel very special, although maybe won’t look as special as the bride.

I am all ready for Friday, I even have my case packed ready to take to the venue, very much ahead of my game which is just the way I like it 🙂

The wedding is at 2pm but I am heading to the venue early with my daughter and the bridesmaids to have our hair and make up done during the morning which I am sure will fly by.

I am so looking forward to what is sure to be a wonderful day and I look forward to sharing how it went with all of you next time.
