Recently I was one of the lucky ones chosen to spend a day on the fantastic Silver Whisper. I felt like I found the golden ticket in Charlie & the Chocolate Factory!

From the moment we stepped on board, until we reluctantly had to leave, we were looked after like royalty. Nothing is too much trouble on a Silversea cruise, the staff want to take care of your every need.

If you do venture out of your suite, you will find a choice of restaurants offering an open seating plan. This means you can eat when, and sit with whom you like. All with a well stocked wine cellar, with over 450 wines on board, with very knowledgeable sommelier`s, who can recommend the perfect choice to accompany any dish.

If you would like a touch of pampering, all suites feature Bulgari toiletries in their Italian marble bathrooms, a well stocked mini bar, with your choice of spirits, Pratesi linen and a pillow menu, state of the art flat screen HD TVs and an interactive media library.

When you consider everything that is included in a Silversea voyage, food, drinks, entertainment, gratuities etc, the list is endless, you certainly do get excellent value for money, and your out of pocket expenses are minimal.
