Can you see the real me?

Something a little different this time, I am going to talk about ME!

This is your chance to get to know the person behind the name, to see what makes me tick.

Away from work, my life revolves around the following things, my wife, my dogs, my grandkids, animal rights, music, travel & football.

My wife, Fiona, is the light of my life. She is always there for me, no matter what the situation. How she has put up with being married to me for over 10 years is a mystery, but I am so grateful she has.

My Furbabies take up a large chunk of my life, as I always have to consider them before doing anything. It`s worse than having kids. Kassi is now 10 and she is the sweetest little dog ever. Bailey, our 1st ever rescue dog, is almost 3 and causes me the most grief, but I cannot help loving him.

Two of the most special people in my life are my grandchildren, Erinn & Lyall, although they would disown me if the saw that I have posted this picture from my wedding.

Anyone who knows me will know how passionate I am about animal rights. I have not eaten meat since 1989 and despise any form of animal abuse. In my eyes, animals should have the same rights as human beings. I think that everyone should make little changes to their lifestyle, as it will not only help them health-wise, it will make a big difference to the animal kingdom.

If possible I like to have my music playing, no matter what I am doing. I love The Charlatans, Primal Scream, 60`s R&B, Jamaican Ska, Bob Marley, Northern Soul and my all time favourite band, The Smiths. Everything always seems better when there is music in the air.

Travel is something I love to do, and so wish that I could do it more often. Before catching the cruising bug, Fiona & I loved to go to the beautiful country of Egypt. Now we love our Marella/Thomson cruises. The world is yours to discover, so do it now, while you still can.

Finally football. If you do not follow the game, you will never understand how it makes you feel. It can give you the highest of highs, but also the lowest of lows, but I couldn`t imagine life without it.

So there you have it, an insight into the real me. As you can see, I am just an ordinary guy, who cares passionately about his job and treats his customers like friends.
