Where In The World Will You Be in 2020?

I’m talking Destinations. New Horizons!  New Adventures to be had!  Hopefully you would have received your Destinations of the World latest brochure, full of fantastic new itineraries, ports of call, with the promise of a new adventure and immersion opportunity to far flung places!

I’ve been thumbing through the pages to find inspiration for my main 2020 holiday, and what a choice! Tahiti, Bora Bora! Whale & Dolphin Watching, plus  a 2 night stay in L.A.!  Or if you are an Elvis fan. (I am) Then how about the Ultimate Music Cities cruise with a trip to Memphis, Graceland & a Jazz Cruise on a traditional steamboat in New Orleans!

Our Ultimate South America, Grand Tour of China with Yangtze River Tailormade holidays continue to be best sellers, and we have introduced a fantastic Borneo Jungle & Malaysian Islands Bucket List Tour.  (This by the way is my personal choice.) This fantastic immersive trip  includes visiting an Orangutan Rehab centre,  a trip to see Pygmy Elephants, a stay in a Rainforest Lodge, Turtle Island  to see hatching turtles, and  see the world’s smallest bears in Langkawi!  Coupled with a cruise on board the Marella Discovery. The only ship I have sailed on twice.

I’m also thinking of going back to America and embarking on another ‘Road Trip’.  If you are a regular reader of my blog you will know that the Hubster & I did a fantastic road trip from San Francisco to Las Vegas in 2018. Visiting Yosemite, and driving down the Pacific Coastal Highway in our rented Mustang.  We stopped at Carmel, Monterrey, Pismo Beach, Los Angeles & finally Vegas.  Topping off our visit with a Helicopter Trip over the Grand Canyon.  Magical! & the memories will last us our lifetimes.

So…. having cruised around South East Asia last Christmas/New Year on board the Marella Discovery , we rather like the idea of returning to the US and doing another road trip along the East Coast. Staying in New York City.  A dream of mine since childhood. Then taking a drive down to Washington . Onward to Philadelphia.  Then up to Niagara Falls – got to do the Hornblower Boat Ride! before heading back through Boston.

Or do we do the Borneo trip?
