Few days away seeing Peppa and George!

We have just come back from a great couple of days at Peppa Pig World.  We had booked it back in January and had booked a 1 night hotel stay and the 2 day park tickets.  We arrived before the park opened on the first day to make the most of the time.  It was quite quiet as the weather wasn’t brilliant.  This was good for us as there weren’t any queues for any of the rides.  Poppy loved all of the rides and they are all family rides so we got to go on with her.  There were several meet and greet opportunities throughout the day to meet Peppa and George and Poppy really enjoyed doing this.  We made the most of our day and didn’t leave until the park closed.  We obviously had to take a visit to the shop before we left and Poppy came away with lots of goodies.  We had booked to stay at Doubletree by Hilton Southampton which was about 20 minutes from the park.

The hotel was beautiful and we decided to just eat in the hotel as kids could also eat free.  The restaurant had a big piano in the centre which Poppy wanted to play!  The food was very good and after we had our dinner we just headed back to our room as we had had a long day.  The next morning we were up early.  Breakfast was very good and we then checked out ready to go back to the park for a second day.  Poppy wanted to go back to the hotel and we do wish we had booked the 2 nights but know for next time.  The park opened a bit earlier on the second day and was a lot busier.  We still did do some Peppa Pig rides but we then walked over to the other part of Paultons Park to see what was over there.  We did the meet and eat with Dinosaur Live.  This was very good and most kids were scared of the dinosaur but Poppy was happy to go and see it.

We managed a few rides there before heading back to Peppa Pig World.  The park was meant to shut at 5pm but we didn’t end up leaving until about 5.45pm.  We then decided to stop somewhere for dinner before setting off home.  it was a very long day and we didn’t get home until late but Poppy hasn’t stopped talking about her time there.  I would definitely go again and already thinking ahead of when we can go.  I would also recommend the hotel and as it isn’t far from Southampton would be an option for the Cruise terminal.
