Back from a fantastic holiday

I have just come back from an amazing 12 nights holiday.  We got back last night from spending 12 nights in Poole, Dorset.  We love it down there and the weather was so good to us.  We had sun every day while we were there and this also helped to make our holiday.  Poppy is nearly 2 now and so she really was wanting to do everything.  She has gained so much more confidence in the water with the sea and pools and has had lots of laughs.  We went to Sandbanks beach a few times which is our favourite beach in the area.  We then spent a few days around the pool on the site.  As we have owner cards we can use a separate owner’s area with a lovely pool and baby pool.  The baby pool is a great size for Poppy to get around.

We only made it out to a few places while there this time.  As the weather was so good it made sense to use the beach and pool.  We took a trip to Monkey World which we always enjoy and for some reason the Monkey’s seemed to like Poppy.

We then carried on to Lulworth Cove.  I love it here.  The water is so clear and this year we took a boat to Durdle Door which we all enjoyed.  We always talk about going there but never make it so the boat was the best way.  We also spent a day in Bournemouth.  We took Poppy to the Oceanarium there which she enjoyed but got bored after a short time.  We went down the pier and sat on the beach.  We also let Poppy have a go on the little rides which she loves.  We ate off site two nights in our favourite restaurants and the other nights we ate on site.  This year Poppy wanted to see the characters so we used to go and sit in the show lounge where she could dance and watch the character shows.  By the end of the holiday she had her photo took with them on her own.

We also used to have a little go on the slot machines which Poppy enjoyed doing and was quite good!  I am sad that this holiday is over as it really was great but we certainly have lots of memories now.
