My New Working Hours

As most of my readers and customers will be aware of by now, I became a dad in August last year, and in the last couple of weeks, having had almost a year off work on maternity leave, my wife has gone back to work.

As she works in education, her hours are none negotiable, Monday to Friday daytime, usually finishing around 5pm ish.

Now, before we had the baby, I had literally no idea the crazy cost of child care! Roughly £50 per day! OUCH!

So in an effort to reduce the cost of this down, whilst both trying to work full time, I have completely revamped my working rota.

Naturally there will be a few exceptions due to bank holidays, personal holidays, big sporting events (The World Cup for example!), and the odd general alteration, but for the foreseeable future, here is when you can catch the elusive Freddie Moser:

Sunday – Working All Day & Evening – usually until 9pm

Monday – Working All Day & Evening – usually until 9pm

Tuesday – Working evening – usually 6pm until 10pm

Wednesday – Off all day – but feel free to email me, you might get a reply!

Thursday – Working morning – usually 9am until around midday

Friday – Working Daytime – Usually 9am until 5pm

Saturday – Off all day

So there you have it, how to fit a full time job around your wife’s work whilst also saving money on childcare! Result!

Working from home does give me the flexibility to do this and hopefully these hours actually make me easier to get hold of, especially to people that work still.

I always encourage my customers to ping an email over if they can’t get me on the phone because very much like my son, my laptop follows me around the house most of the day!

I thought this would be a useful blog, to all my customers, new and existing, so feel free to save me in your phone, write my hours on your calendar, or just generally remember one of my shifts so you know to call me on that day.

This job is very demanding at times, so I will always try and be as punctual as possible and endeavor to come back to your enquiries or queries as best as I can.
