Well I have no idea quite honestly! Sorry to build you all up there!
Let’s be fair Cunard are probably the most predictable brand these days in terms of names, aside from Royal Caribbeans ‘….Of The Seas’, Cunard are of course known for using the British Queens for their ships.
Mary, Elizabeth & Victoria to be precise.
So are we safe to assume they will do the same again?
Odds on favourite is ‘Queen Anne’, but I’d really love Cunard to think outside the box a bit and perhaps go with something less obvious, no disrespect to Queen Anne of course, or any of the other Queens!
I just think they are in need of an update to the brand, and let’s be honest in 2022 we may well have a King on the throne by then!
Could it be Queen Kate? Or maybe King William? Or what about using a famous person from history that people can relate to, like Sir Winston Churchill or HMS Alan Turing, recently voted the greatest person of the 20th century.
Don’t get me wrong Queen Anne is a great name and falls in line with their usual route. I just can’t help thinking that it would be great to surprise everyone. Get tongues wagging a bit.
Great things never came from comfort zones!
