MY PERCEPTIONS CHANGED BY REALITY …. WELL THEY DO SAY DONT JUDGE A BOOK ….

This week I wanted to share with your my experience of the Magellan with Cruise and Maritime.  We are lucky enough as Cruise Agents to be invited by cruise lines on board to enjoy a tour of the ship and lunch on board.  I absolutely love these as it really helps me to be able to recommend from a personal honest experience ….. 

From being with Fred Olsen last December, I had already categorized Cruise and Maritime as a company to be of the same style and well …. old and very traditional……. Well I soon had to hold my hands up and say you should never judge a book by its cover …….

From the moment I stepped on board the clean smell and the sheer modernization about this ship is what hit me first of all, I actually said to myself am I really on the Magellan???  YES I WAS ……First of all we were able to enjoy a coffee in the Sinatra Lounge Bar ….

We were then shown to the Spa area on board where to say I was impressed doesn’t even cut it ……. if I had of been boarding that day I would have been able to enjoy a Spa Sampler from £44 for 3 treatments!! ….. Yes ok I did have to try out the relaxing beds ……

I loved the mini Casino on board to tempt you to still try out your luck ……

We were then taken outside onto the deck area where there are 2 swimming pools and 3 whirlpools ….. as this was embarkation day and the ship was still in port there was no water in the whirlpool for me to enjoy ….. but of course for all of you lucky customers there would be ….

We were then lucky enough to eat (before our visit came to an end) in the Kensington Restaurant, one of the main dining rooms on board, the other includes the Waldorf Restaurant, both have the same menu however they offer different decor and atmosphere.

To sum my experience up, would I go on the Magellan myself …. ABSOLUTELY! Would  recommend her YES……. She offers many itineraries even including a Round the World Cruise …..
