This week I wanted to talk about the BIG NAME REVEAL before it happens at 4pm this afternoon!! If I could play a drum roll attached to this blog I would! Have you heard about this already? If not where have you been!
If you wish to embark on this newest ship these sailings will be released for sale in Autumn of this year for her itineraries which will start the early part of Summer 2020. I would highly recommend getting in early for this, otherwise, this ship will most certainly sail without you!
Here are a few facts about what this new 180,000 ton ship will offer –
- Will hold Guest Capacity of 5200 – The Largest ship built for British Guests
- Deck 8 will provide a half mile of uninterrupted relaxation areas and entrance into the al fresco dining venues
- 16 Whirlpools
- 17 places to dine
- 4 Swimming Pools (3 Outside and 1 Inside)
- New amazing Entertainment Venue – The Dome!

What do you think she will be called? There have been so many names thrown about including Adventurer, Pheonix (I personally love this one) and Victoria to name a few. There have been over 3000 entries for suggestions on this! I can’t wait to find out the CHOSEN one!
So are you now aware of which cruise line I am talking about? Yes, this is correct, I think the British part may give it away. This will be an incredible part of P & Os history of cruising, this beauty will be the most environmentally efficient of all the fleet so far and it has proved that the cruise line has made sure the P&O-ness that all loyal customers love will be captured throughout the ship, whilst innovation will also attract new customers to the brand moving forward.
The first piece of steel was cut this week marking a huge milestone within the fleet! Now its all go go go from here!
