What’s your favourite bar at sea?

With so many ships sailing the oceans and more and more new and more innovative ships being launched every year there are so many options and fantastic bars on board the ships, from ice bars to moving bars and champagne bars to fine wine bars there really are so many amazing choices out there!
Here’s a list of some of my personal favourites!
Olly Smith’s ‘Glass House’ on board Azura

This is such a great relaxing bar area as you can guess serving a huge range of wines including exclusive wines for Azura, you can enjoy tapas during the day as well as fine meals on the evening whilst accompanying them with a perfect wine match, you can also attend wine tasting events here also.

Rising Tide, on the Allure of the Seas and oasis of the seas

This is a moving bar, yes you heard me right a moving bar! She floats up and down 3 decks approximately every 30 minutes, this takes around 20 minutes but the movement can even be speeded up at the discretion of the ‘driver’!

Ice bar, onboard NCL Epic and NCL Breakaway

This is a full on ice bar, you are given the warm silver coats as you enter and booking is necessary and this is a very popular bar onboard! You will find ice sculptures, and ice bar and ice glasses, and you can choose from a variety of vodkas served inside, not to be missed if you are sailing on one of the ships!

Wipeout bar ,on board Royal Caribbean Oasis and Freedom class ships

Located next to the epic flow rider , this is the perfect spot to spend an afternoon watching your fellow passengers, in many cases making a slight fool out of themselves on the flowrider, you will definitely have a giggle with a beer in hand facing the flow rider on deck!

Martini Bar & Crush, Onboard various Celebrity cruise ships

This ice topped bar gives you a chance to sit and have a cool martini based cocktail whilst the bar tenders are giving you a show of there cocktail making skills, if you fancy a snack take advantage of the caviar!

RedFrog Rum Bar, Various Carnival cruise ships

This is a cool Caribbean themed pool bar area serving their very own special RedFrog rum including frozen cocktails and pitchers as well as the exclusive Thirsty Frog red beer! Definitely sounds best whilst chilling out in the Caribbean sunshine with a steel band playing in the back ground!

So what do you think, are any of the above your favourite or do you have a cruise ship bar that gets your vote, let me know!
