P&O To Trial drinks Package

By now you have probably heard on the street that P&O are stepping up their game/folding under pressure, either of the two they are trialing a drinks package on the Azura from the 21st of July for one month only.

Is this good or bad?

Like everything, this will have a lot of mixed views and opinions, but I think it is the correct move on their behalf. Often I have customers who are booking a P&O cruise and inquiry about a drinks package, and unfortunately, before now they only had wine you could pre-purchase by the bottle or a soda card. I’m not sure why they haven’t introduced it before now as they are quite behind with the times compared to other companies. Nearly all offer a drinks package, whether its a deal included at the time of booking or something they can add through the cruise personaliser. I know compared to other companies the drinks on board are similar to that of British pubs, with it being a British cruise line. Personally when I cruise I always add the package on for me and my husband and a refreshment package for the boys. It makes it so easy that when they aren’t with us they can have a drink when and where they like. I am a bit of a worrier so also hate the thought of having a bill at the end. i have had it before now when I didn’t have the package and the cruise line took the balance of the account off the credit card twice as this is normal for them to earmark the payment and then take it. It’s a real pain as it takes around a week to get sorted.

So my answer to my original question is -yes!

I am personally really pleased they are trailing it and hopefully it will be successful and continue across the fleet.

What does the package include: For £39.95pppd you can enjoy the following
