Who likes Christmas??????

Me…I absolutely love Christmas, ever since a little girl, I love the magic and surprises. I have even carried the tradition on to my own children, when they were younger, on Christmas Eve, they would have a bath and we would watch for the magic in the sky, whilst my brother would stand out in the garden ringing the bells, my boys got so exited thinking it was the bells on the sleigh and would jump into bed and shut their eyes. I miss those days as they are now 14 & 11 and don’t even believe in Father Christmas.

When do you start your Christmas shopping? I can never think about starting my shopping until after the 19th November, which is my eldest son’s birthday, then its always a mad rush to organise everything. I am one of five and we all have children, so a few years ago, we decided that we would only buy for the children in the family. I try and do a lot of my shopping online now and have it delivered, although my boys do like to go and experience late night shopping, they like to see the Christmas lights, go off on their own a buy their mummy a nice gift. (Obviously I have to pay for my own present). I love shopping for the food, but hate the crowds, getting all the nice goodies, wine etc.

Do you like to go away for Christmas? I could never imagine being in the sun for Christmas, I often thought about Lapland, staying in a nice lodge with a nice roaring fire, but it’s so expensive. I know some people do like to go abroad for Christmas, but don’t think I would like to, it wouldn’t feel the same.
