One of the questions I get asked most days from my customers are … “What’s next now that I am booked on my cruise” & “What will I need to do before I set sail”
So today I wanted to write a little, “To do list” which may help you on your way when planning your next cruise!
If you are anything like me when I am travelling on holiday, I like to be as organised as possible, I write a list and tick off as I go along everything I have done/completed.
I am that person who although I know I have checked my passport is with me, I double check and triple check Lol.
Below is my check list of things to do before I leave for my cruise holiday..
- Once booked, I make sure I check through my whole itinerary, names, dates, ship, etc are all correct
- Make sure I have at least 6 months validity left on your passport from the date of return from your cruise/holiday
- Visa’s – Make sure you have checked if you require any visa’s for your trip and ensure you have applied for them in plenty of time
- Check-in to my cruise personaliser to add your essential immigration details such as passport info, insurance policy numbers, NOK etc..
- Log into my cruise planner – Have a look at added extras available, i.e. Excursions, spa treatments, Specialty restaurants and so on..
- Plan my transport/transfers and journey to and from the airport/cruise terminal, if not already included.
- Ensure I have the right insurance in place to cover me for the duration of my cruise
- Check in for my fight (if required) Print boarding passes
- Print out any necessary documents
- Check the currencies for the destinations/countries you are travelling to and change up enough for each of your ports
I hope this helps you when planning your post booking holiday arrangements
