For those who follow me on Facebook, you will see this week that Virgin Voyages announced that their first Cruise Ship Scarlet Lady will visit the UK before heading off to the States and her home port of Miami.
Its hopeful that agents like myself, or ‘Shipmates’ as they call us will get the chance to visit her along with the Press to see what delights she is to offer us.
She will be based out of Miami eventually, but before heading over the pond, we will get to see her in two UK ports. One of those being Dover and the other my local port of Liverpool.
I have done several of these ships visits and although not a huge amount of time onboard, it gives you an overall idea of the type of passengers it will attract. I hope I am lucky enough to get to see the Scarlet Lady when she does her UK visits at the beginning of next year.
Scarlet lady is set to carry 2700 passengers in the ‘Adult only’ ship. She is seemingly going to offer a whole new meaning to what is included on ships currently.
