Off on my Jolly Holiday!

Well don’t get too excited but I will be heading off on my summer holidays this week. No cruise for us as a family this year.

We will be heading to Lincolnshire for our break this time in a beautiful Country Estate.

I love our country and have been all around it over the years exploring the hidden gems it has to offer.

Last year was a very exciting time when it came to Summer holidays as we were off to Join Carnival Vista for 14 nights around the Med. Whilst it was a fantastic cruise, its not really i want to repeat with my family for a few years and we have opted to book a Caribbean cruise for Next Year instead.

City style itineraries can be really exhausting on a port intensive cruise and we are hoping the Caribbean Islands will be a little more laid back and not so much walking involved.

Our Lincolnshire is much needed and I am so looking forward to a lovely break away from the house.( One of the down sides of working from home) I never feel like I leave the house sometimes.

We have a beautiful Caravan waiting for us and Harry the dog tagging along, he will be pleased he isn’t being packed off to his Nanna’s whilst we go away.

It has been a very stressful month as 2 of my daughters were busy with GCSE and A Level exams but we were also caught up in the horrific events in Manchester at the end of May.

Luckily with only minimal injury but emotional scaring that will take a long time to fade. I am so proud of my girls that they continued to study and revise hard even through what must have been a very distracting and terrifying ordeal.

I just hope their efforts pay off when results day arrives.

Oh, and just to finish the Month of June in Style, my middle daughter had her leaving school Prom. It was a very proud mum moment I have to say. Here she is already to go!
