Just this last week, I booked a family friend & her husband on one of our amazing Bucketlist itineraries and I couldn’t believe the incredible itinerary our fantastic product team have put together!
First, our guests will board the elegant and timeless Queen Mary 2 in Southampton on 21st June 2020 for an 8 night cruise calling at Le Havre and then the Transatlantic cruising. Arriving into New York on 29th June, they will transfer up to Niagara Falls for a 2 night stay on the Canadian side. The following day there is an included Hornblower Cruise to get a up-close view of the falls before soaring over the falls in a helicopter to get an epic birds-eye view.
The following day, they will cross over to the US side to get a different perspective of the falls. After they will make the crossing through the Finger Lakes Wine Country – this area is home to almost 100 wineries which are centered around the tree main Finger Lakes. The night is spent at Williamsport. The next day they will visiting the Amish Country before arriving into Philadelphia for the night followed by another day of sightseeing before moving onto Washington DC for an overnight stay.
On July 4th, they will start the day with a guided tour to see the White House, the Supreme Court and the Capitol (exterior visits) before departing in the afternoon to reach New York – there will be a 4th of July fireworks display over the East River which will be spectacular to see! The following day sees our guests exploring New York with various stops at Times Square, 5th Avenue, Rockefeller Center and Grand Central Station amongst other famous landmarks!
The 6th July brings the return Transatlantic sailing on the Queen Mary 2 back to Southampton arriving on 13th July.
What an amazing trip and especially to experience the US over the July 4th weekend and the best bit is there are no flights so no jet lag! We still have some availability left on this departure and you can find out more details here:
