First Time Royal Independence

It’s unheard of these days for a person not to have done a cruise as it seems to become more and more cost-effective now. However, I know there are some people out there that would never step foot on a cruise, whether it be by fear or just not their passion.

Today I had spoken to a customer who recently returned from his first ever cruise onboard Royal Caribbean Independence of the seas. I knew him and his party was excited from the moment they booked up until I contacted him before they traveled to make sure they all had the correct ticket documentation and labels.

As always, it’s nice to catch up with customers when they return from their cruise to see how it all went and hear about their fond memories of experiences onboard. Well this Gentleman was astatic when I contacted him as he never really thought a welcome home call would have been made and he found this service to be great so he could literally run over everything day by day and what he enjoyed, from the activities, entertainment and the general atmosphere onboard the ship. It was really overwhelming to hear his feedback as I don’t think I have ever spoken to a customer on a welcome home call that was happy to spend 15-20 minutes on the call to me.

At the end of the call, he then went on to ask me to look into other cruises with Royal Caribbean departing from Southampton later this year and also going into Summer 2020. So maybe I have now turned him! However, I did agree to a lot of his feedback as I also did Royal Caribbean Independence of the seas back in October 2017 for 3 nights and felt it was probably the best ship I have ever been on. So I strongly agree that Royal Caribbean has a great reputation in the UK market.
