Cruise With Robin

Cruise and Maritime Next on my List!

So I have been told that my Christmas conference is going to be on-board the Cruise and Maritime Columbus this year and as I have never cruised with them I am really looking forward to the experience. The cruise will depart from London Tilbury, which is great as a nondriver makes this so much easier for me to get to. It will include ports of call for Antwerp and Amsterdam. Now even though I have been to Antwerp and Amsterdam many times, they are really great cities to travel to.

I know the Columbus is an older ship to their fleet as she originally entered service back in 1989 for Princess know as the Star Princess, she has also been in P and O and she was the sole ship within Ocean Village before they ceased trading in 2010 and then went over to P and O Australia where she served until 2017, before coming to be the MV Columbus.

At 63,500 tonnage she is a fairly small ship making her more intimate and she still has a lot of great amenities on-board including activities, evening theatre shows along with all the man and specialty restaurants. She hosts inside, outside, balcony and junior balcony suites.

In my experience, I have done 9 cruises over 11 years and have also gone with a different cruise line as I like to experience the majority of them before returning to a particular favorite Royal Caribbean, which seems to be a very popular cruise line for us British.

I’m really looking forward to what she will offer and how much I will enjoy the experience. As it is only for 3 nights I will have to try and do almost everything available on-board.
