Celestyal Cruising

So I recently confirmed a cruise only option for 2 guests in separate cabins traveling with Celestyal cruises. Now I must admit, I have never booked a Celestyal cruise ever before so I was somewhat excitable dealing with the enquiry as it was completely new to me. Since dealing with the enquiry I believe I feel much more confident in dealing with Celestyal cruises now.

So what have Celestyal cruises got over other cruise lines you may be asking? Well the most unique benefit when traveling with them is that they are a specialized cruise line dealing with Greece and her lovely islands, along with the Adriatic coast and East Mediterranean. You can decide to do it as a cruise only and put the flights together or do it as a package so that you are protected by ATOL. You can fly to join your cruise from the following ports of call for cruises which are 3 to 7 nights.

  • Athens
  • Crete
  • Istanbul
  • Kusadasi
  • Limassol
  • Venice

Celestyal cruises have 2 ships in service which are the Celestyal Crystal and the Celestyal Olympia. However, the Celestyal Crystal is much smaller in size (25,611 tonnages) making it perfect to get to those Greek ports. She can accommodate up to 1200 passengers. Whereas the Celestyal Olympia is much bigger in size at 37,584 and up to 1575 passengers.

The cruise itself is full board and also comes with a free All Inclusive drinks package making it more desirable to cruise with as this comes as standard. Another unique selling point is that on a 7-night cruise they will also throw in 3 shore excursions free making sure you get to see the best of the destinations. And what else, it also comes with Gratuities included.

When it comes to dining the breakfast comes with plenty of freshly baked bread, pastries, fruits along with other hot and cold dishes.  When it comes to dining this cruise line is famous for its Greek cuisine so when it comes to lunch and the evening meal you can choose from the buffet or a la carte menus. Why not take your meal out to the lido deck and go alfresco and enjoy it from there. They also offer specialized menus as well such as Surf and Turf or vegetarian dishes.

Celestyal also offers a full ray of activities and entertainment that will suit all ages and tastes, from authentic Greek dancing to the Ballos, Kalamatianos and Sirtaki, or give Turkish belly a go. They also offer quizzes, electronic game consoles, bingo, bridge tournaments along with live cooking shows to help you improve your cooking skills.

So if you are thinking of trying something a little different with a unique cruise itinerary then why not try Celestyal cruises? If you would like me to look into any cruises for you then why not get in contact on 0800 408 6116 or [email protected]
