Perfect Day at CocoCay is Now Open!

Royal Caribbean new revitalised $250m private island CocoCay is now open

The amazing private island in the Bahamas has been transformed with a 135-foot-tall waterside, helium balloon ride, a wave pool and a lagoon. Among the 13 water slides it also boasts  the tallest waterslide in North America and the largest wave pool in the Caribbean. A 1,600-foot-long zip line course and a 450-foot-high helium balloon called “Up, Up and Away,” it truly spectacular, some charges for activities will apply.

I was on-board Majesty of the Seas in 2017 and we stopped at CocoCay, the place was beautiful, picturesque and fantastic beaches. We booked a Jet Ski in advance through Royal Caribbean shore excursions team and it’s a must do! An amazing experience with the time to stop and explore the bright star fishes. With a BBQ on the beach to boot, this will be a big highlight in your itinerary.

Talking about food, so what’s included in your fare?  Perfect Day has four venues to choose from (some included and others with a la carte fees) Harborside, Captain Jack’s for wings and a lively atmosphere and Skipper’s Grill for tacos, salads, burgers and more included in your fare. Chill Grill, on Chill Island, is where families and friends can dine at shaded picnic tables in the sand, and the Snack Shack on South Beach for drinks and snacks.
