Bon Voyage with Bonnie

Do not ignore the UK!

When I think of a cruise I think of sailing to Amazing Alaska or sunning myself in Stunning Santorini.

What I do not think about is a cruise around good old blighty. However, more and more people are I‘m beginning to wonder, if I too fancy myself a little British Isle cruise.

I’ve loved traveling since my first holiday abroad when I was seven, before that it was always a little guesthouse in ‘Brid’ Or If we were feeling adventurous to Skeggy. My first trip to Portugal got me hooked on traveling. Since then I’ve been lucky to see lots of wonderful places overseas. Focusing on what country to visit next. By doing this I have totally neglected the beauty that is on my doorstep!

The British Isles & Ireland cruises are available throughout the year, but mainly the summer months. Offering lots of different durations and many different UK ports of call that you can depart from which is a bonus if you’re up north and not close to Southampton. Most cruise lines offer such itineraries and if we get a summer like last year then I think this cruise might be a winner. Most sailings offer port after port so no long days at sea, especially good if you are new to cruise. When in Port, it is easy to get around no language barriers or worrying about local currencies.

The most important thing is the BEAUTIFUL places you will get to visit, that maybe you have overlooked. Opting for somewhere further afield as I have done.

Seeing the Cavern Club in Liverpool, Maybe doing the Game of Thrones tour in Belfast, what about sampling a proper pint of Guinness in Dublin, Seeing the rugged scenery of Orkney the list truly does go on.

So, what do you think about a British Isle cruise? Would it be for you?

Keep Cruising,

Lots of Love.

Bonnie xx
