Another ship set for Southampton 2021… its Magnifica news!

MSC have just confirmed that they will be bringing the MSC Magnifica to our shores for summer 2021

The Magnifica will sail out of Southampton and will offer 24 sailings. Full details are not yet out but the itineraries will include the Canary Islands, Med, The Baltics, and The Norwegian Fjords.

Just before the arrival to the UK, the Magnifica is due to go into dry dock to be sliced in half (sounds grim)

The ship will get an extra 23 meters added to its middle. A little bit like my middle after I’ve come off a cruise ?

The lengthening will result in 215 new cabins, a massive sun deck, a water park, and 2 new restaurants.

The cruises will vary in length so something to suit everyone. Some of the sailings will include

14-night Baltic Capitals, May Bank Holiday Mini Break 14 night Med Cruises and 7 night Norway sailings

The 14-night Med cruise will prove popular, I think. MSC have many ships in the Med offering wonderful itineraries so to have this from Southampton is brilliant

Another exciting thing is the ‘BEST OF BRITISH’ element that will be introduced which includes Yorkshire Tea, kettle in Cabins. Pie and Mash  ? Bangers and mash and real bacon! So, all the things us, British love, right?!!

After my first MSC cruise earlier this year on the Bellissima I think this is a great addition. MSC offers one of the best drink’s packages out there, Tips are now included, Child ages are up to 17 years & FREE YORKSHIRE TEA! What’s not to love right?

Are you excited to have a different ship based out of the UK?

Keep Cruising,

Bonnie x
