Cruising is so Dull…

The cruising industry never changes, it just stays the same. Same ships, same entertainment, same facilities everything just the same.

Errrrrrrrrr WRONG. Clearly that is utter rubbish!

The cruising world is constantly on the change, so much so its hard to keep up. Some changes are bigger and better some changes make you wonder WHY would you do that? Robot bartenders springs to mind!

We’ve already had several new ships this year including…

MSC Bellisima

This mega ship will have 20 bars, 10 restaurants and the entertainment is going to be amazing. They will be showcasing the wonderful Cirque Du Soleil. This ship holds 4500 passengers so she is a biggie!

MSC Grandiosa

MSC have yet another new ship, making her maiden voyage in November 2019. She is enormous 6300 passengers and will be the seventh largest cruise ship! She will have a full-size bowling alley, 3 water slides and an aqua park and will certainly give Royal Caribbean a run for they money.

Next on the list is Royal Caribbean, who have they fourth addition to the Quantum Class

Spectrum of the Seas

It may be easier for me to tell you what is not on the ship, as this one is ridiculous!

So your going to find Bumper cars, skydiving, Karaoke, FlowRider and the North Star. Also, a really weird but I think a great idea Interior rooms will have a virtual balcony! You get to see the ‘sea’ but at a much lower cost. l This ship holds 4200 passengers, so quite small for Royal Caribbean Standards!

Celebrity Edge

Wow this one looks amazing. If you have sailed with Celebrity before you will get all the same high standards, but wow so much more. The magic Carpet looks amazing and such a great idea. The Flying Magic Carpet on an evening, will go up approx. 12 storey’s above sea level and you will be able to dine Al fresco in the Sky-High Restaurant! It will be absolutely Amazing, a must if you are going on this beautiful ship.

These are just a few of the new ships that have launch and/or due to launch.

Along with…

NCL Encore

Carnival Panorama

Sky Princess

P&o Iona

Enchanted Princess

Plus many more to come.

Its an exciting time to cruise. The only issue is choosing which ship to try next. I’m edging towards the Celebrity Edge 🙂

Keep Cruising,
