Royal Caribbean is building the world’s biggest cruise ship ….. again !!

Royal Caribbean just keeps getting bigger. Last year saw the launch of the world’s largest ship, Royal Caribbean’s Symphony of the Seas weighing 228,081 gross tons, stretching 1,188 feet long and capable of transporting 6,680 guests and 2,200 crew members, this beat the Harmony, Allure and the Oasis of the Seas

Then last week Royal Caribbean cut the first bit of steel on the fifth Oasis-class cruise ship that will take the title of world’s largest ship in 2021 record breaker !!!

The ship has yet to be named but will be the sister ship to the Symphony of the Seas. The ship is being constructed at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France.

Although they haven’t made any grand announcements about the new ship it has been said it will mirror the other Oasis-class ships, featuring the seven distinct neighbourhoods such as the Central Park, the open-air green space in the middle of the ship, 10-deck dry slide, The Ultimate Abyss, as well as the Perfect Storm water park. They did say to expect a bold and unexpected lineup of thrilling experiences, imaginative dining, unparalleled entertainment and the latest technology.

What else can they possibly think of to add to a cruise ship ??

What would you like to see on a cruise ship ??

What do you think the name will be ?? I’m guessing it will have …. of the seas in it though !!!
