Dining on MSC Preziosa – are you hungry?

Whilst on our cruise onboard MSC Preziosa myself & Zoe ate in the main restaurant most nights on second sitting which was 8.30 pm each night.

There are 2 sittings – 1st at 6.30 pm & the 2nd at 8.30 pm. With MSC you can request a dining time but it can not be guaranteed until you are on the ship.

Anytime dining is only applicable to Aurea Spa cabins.

There are 2 main restaurants called The Golden Lobster – 2 stories on deck 5 & 6 & L’Arabesque on deck 6, we dined in The Golden Lobster which was fantastic every evening and our waiter Samul was brilliant, he was so friendly and chatty and we had fun every night. We had a different menu every evening with lots of choices for starters, mains & desserts. Vegetarian options were also available.  MSC can also cater for special menus, just speak to Matre’D onboard and they can arrange it for you.

We had no problems with the food, all very tasty, cooked well & hot (contrary to what you may read on some sites).

On the table behind us were an Indian family and they were offered Indian dishes if they wished, one of the chefs was Indian so made them a fabulous dinner every evening which they shared with us one night as we’d got friendly with them as they were part of our group.

Some of the portions were a little on the small side so just have 2 – I did and you can just ask your waiter!

There is also the Butchers Cut which is a speciality restaurant – the steak house and it was amazing, we ate in here one night as being Black cardholders it is one of the perks. It was a fantastic meal and one of the best steaks I’ve had so I definitely recommend a visit here if on Preziosa.  The cost is Euro 32 per person for 3 courses on the standard menu or you can go big if you can eat a whole cow as I would put it.

The food was amazing, we had Shrimp Cocktail, Filet Mignon & Lava Cake.
They will cook your steak the way you like it as I like mine medium to well & it was perfect.

If you like Sushi you can try the Galaxy Restaurant – we didn’t eat here but reports from people who did say it was awesome too.

How about an afternoon snack in Phoenician Plaza, here you can grab a coffee or a cocktail and a snack or a cake which is all included in your cruise fare.

Then there is the good old faithful buffet restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch & dinner if you don’t want to eat in the main one.

A good selection of food available here, we had breakfast & lunch with the best Pizza at sea I have ever tasted.

I don’t know about you but I’m hungry now so off for my dinner!!

I will do the bars & entertainment on my next blog…….
