I was lucky to be chosen to travel to China with some of my colleagues to do our ‘Grand Tour of China’ which is part of our Bucket List Trips to check out the tour and make sure all OK for our customers doing this trip next year! All I can say is ‘you won’t be disappointed’
Well what can I say about the food on Celebrity – one word says it all – FANTASTIC!
We had 2nd dining and thought we had a table for 8 which is what we prefer but when we went down to dinner the 1st night we had a table for 2. Oh no I thought I have to speak to hubby every night for 10 nights – haha!! It was OK as there was another table for 2 next to us and a 4 on the other side so we all chatted each evening. A lovely Canadian couple and 4 Aussie’s so I was in my element as they were from Brisbane so lots to talk about.
So the other week I took my hubby Adam to Portsmouth for a few days for his birthday on 26th June.
He used to be in the Navy and hasn’t been down to Portsmouth for a while so when I asked him what he wanted to do, this was his request. So I booked the days off work and sorted a hotel out. We went on Monday 25th June as he is a DJ so works weekends so easier to go midweek and his birthday was the next day.
So after my stay in Dublin for the night, myself & my colleague Nicola boarded Royal Princess for a 2 night stay to experience the ship.
We were very lucky with the weather as it was beautiful sunshine and very warm. After a lovely breakfast at Jury’s Hotel we went for a little wander round the shops for a bit then headed back to the hotel as we had booked a taxi to take us to the port. You can walk it in around 15/20 minutes but not ideal in warm weather and with suitcases too.
I have a regular client who has booked numerous cruises with me over the last few years. A lot are mini cruises for 2/3/4 nights but usually a group of them go as couples or just the ladies. I love dealing with these passengers as I do all my clients and love to go the extra mile where possible.
