My Dream of becoming a Cover Star!!

What’s a Cover Star you say? Well, in a nutshell, Travel Weekly are going to choose 12 Travel Agents to represent the 12 Months of 2020. Each month, one of the agents will be featured on the cover and have an interview about travel and their experience on the Cover Stars trip, which I will explain below.

If you have been following my blogs over the last 2 and a half years you would have seen that I have been lucky enough to be featured in Travel Weekly a handful of times and each time I am just so grateful and humble. There are several popular magazines within the travel industry but Travel Weekly is definitely my favourite. So, of course, I have to apply this year as it is their tenth and final year.

What’s included I hear you ask? As well as the amazing opportunity of being on the cover you get to go on a trip with the other cover stars to Florida in October. It would be a 7 Night trip to Walt Disney Resorts in Florida and we would get to spend 6 days experiencing everything that the Disney parks have to offer. Having only been to the Magic Kingdom for one day before I would love the opportunity to explore all of the parks. It would be an incredible experience. Something even more incredible is that at some point during the week we will take part in a special Disney professional photoshoot. The whole Cover Stars experience just sounds like an amazing once in a lifetime opportunity.

Why I want to be a 2020 Travel Weekly Cover Star?
Out of all of the Travel magazines; Travel Weekly is my favourite. I attend many events with Travel Weekly throughout the year and I love every event. I have been lucky enough to be in Travel Weekly several times and I am so proud every time, so to be a cover star would be the ultimate dream. I love everything that the Travel industry has to offer and I am really passionate about my job and Travel in general. and I am currently a FUN Ambassador for Carnival Cruise Line and it has been an incredible experience so far. I would love to be a Cover Star to showcase my passion for travel and Travel Weekly. I have been to Florida a few times but I have only seen the Magic Kingdom and it was only for a day, so a VIP trip to Walt Disney Resort would be amazing. I am a big thrill seeker and I love theme park rides. I also love social media and posting videos and pictures, so I would love to share the experience with my colleagues and my customers. A photoshoot within Disney would be amazing, I love posing for pictures and I would love to get all dressed up. Overall, I would just be absolutely elated if I got picked as I think it’s a fantastic opportunity and as it’s the 10th and final year I just would be so excited to be part of Travel Weekly history.
