P&O off to Dubai

Its that time of year again when the cruise line’s are releasing their new itineraries for the following year. P&O launched their Summer sailing for 2018 really early by doing this in September 2016, which was 6-7 months ahead of their normal launch. Royal Caribbean launched the new Symphony of the Seas last week and have released the Alaska sailings today. Tomorrow will see the Caribbean launch and then the UK and Europe sailings will be available from 23rd March. It is not unusual when this happens to see ships change home port and new itineraries being introduced. This will be no exception this year either as P&O are venturing into new waters. In January 2019 P&O Oceana with be doing 10 night round trip cruises from Dubai. The first sailing will be on 10th January 2019  from Southampton to Dubai and this can be done as 20, 21 or 30 night sailing. From 30th January 2019 she will be doing 10 night sailings and then on 21st March 2019 she will sail from Dubai to Malta when she will be based for the Summer as she will be in 2017-2018.

This is exciting news for P&O as in the past the only time you would have been able to visit this area would have been on the World Cruises or a World Cruise Sector. There will be regional flights offered from Birmingham, Glasgow and Manchester in addition to London Flights. The sailings will include overnight stops in Dubai and Abu Dhabi on some sailing and evening calls to both these places along with Muscat also depending on date. In addition to this P&O will be offering pre and post stays in Dubai for those that want to spend some time there before embarking for the cruise.

For those people who like to book early there will also be additional on board spend offered on selected sailings if booked before 2nd May so there is another reason to get in and get the best deals going.
