Bonkers balcony jump ban !!

Just when you thought you had seen it all on a cruise a 27 year old passenger has taken the crown as the MOST STUPIDEST cruiser ever after deciding to jump off his balcony on the 11th deck….for fun !!!!

The American passenger was travelling on the Symphony Of The Seas with Royal Caribbean with a  group of his friends when they filmed him taking the 120ft jump whilst in the Bahamas.

A short video shared on Instagram shows Nick preparing to leap off the balcony, smiling and looking down at one of his friends who is holding the camera.

After spending the night before partying and drinking he decided to make the jump and admitted he was still drunk from the night before. Apparently its not the first time the daredevil has tried this sort of thing before posting lots of videos on his social media accounts of him doing stunts including him on jet skis , snowboarding and jumping from a height on the Columbia river.

The group of men thought it was a great way to get some hits on his Instagram account but what they didn’t bargain for was the reaction from the cruise line.

Unfortunately for him Royal Caribbean did not see the funny side of the stunt and quickly took action by removing all of the group from the ship with them finding their own way home to boot.

A Royal Caribbean spokesperson said: ‘This was stupid and reckless behaviour and he and his companions have been banned from ever sailing with us again. We are exploring legal action.’

I cant believe he swam away from it without breaking a single limb !! The video online is actually really quite shocking , and even though his mates in the background are laughing ,  I imagine it was quite a nervous laugh because it could of so easily gone wrong.

This behaviour onboard was reckless in my eyes. If he had hit the water differently he could of quite easily killed himself , so Royal banning him for life is actually nothing more then what he deserves.

We all like to have fun on holiday but this is taking it too far , I mean for goodness sake his on Royal Caribbean ,  its not like there isn’t anything to do on there !!

This kind of behaviour makes me ,  as a mother of boys ,  very nervous for them to start going on lads holidays abroad. Hopefully they will be a bit more sensible and stick to staying on the right side of the balcony when they travel.
