What is the Worse Travel Gadget Invented?

Travel Gadgets!

What will the next great must have travel gadget be?

Over the years innovation has exploded in the travel gadget market.

What started with Travel kettles, Travel Irons and adaptor plugs has grown into a multi-million dollar industry.

Of course we have seen everything from the sublime to the ridiculous as well as the useful.

Lets take a look at my top ten worse Gadgets!!!

In at 10: The Wrist Wallet  – Can’t really see the point in this!

9: The Self Stirring Mug – How lazy are we getting!

8. Reef Stash Sandals – Not really practical!

7. The Upright Sleeper of which there have been a few designs! – Looks uncomfortable to me!

6. The Flatulence Odour Control Cushion – Would you admit to using one!

5. The Sleeping Bag Suit – Why?

4. The Airplane Seat Cover – Great if you have OCD I Suppose!

3. The Briefcase Toilet – (Can it get any worse I hear you ask?)

2. The Ostrich Sleeper – Yes it can! Get worse I mean!

1. My absolute favourite is The Pillow Wig!  Really I mean who would?

So what has been a success?

Camera Phones have replaced cameras in many travellers luggage and with smart phones like the Sony Xperia Z1S which takes photos under water who can blame them?

 Language Translators or translator apps!

Play Station Portable or other suitably portable gaming device it Nintendo DS

Satellite navigation systems  or Sat Nav apps!

The Swiss army knife. Not a new gadget as such but now comes complete with a flash drive.

Ultraviolet Bacteria and Pathogen Killing Water Wands and additives though unless you are travelling to the jungle bottled water is probably a better option.

Luggage Tracking devices from Cards to identify your bags and are then tracked by companies or digital tracking devices.

Solar powered Phone chargers great if you travel to the sun!

So what is my number one favourite Travel Gadget.

Well it’s the Kindle of course! I never leave home without it!
