ROYAL CARIBBEAN BAN THE BOOZE!

Royal Caribbean has taken the decision not to offer the Alcoholic drinks packages on its 3-night cruises.

These cruises do have a bit of a reputation for being booze cruises and attract the big drinkers. But not anymore.

I myself am going on one later this month and when I was looking online they now only offer the soda package at £7.63 per day

Classic Soda Package

Quench your thirst for just a few dollars a day with unlimited fountain soda refills and receive a free Coca-Cola® souvenir cup.

or the Replenish Package at £22.80 per day

Refreshment Package

Enjoy our entire selection of premium coffees and teas, bottled water, fresh-squeezed juices, non-alcoholic cocktails, plus fountain soda with a free Coca-Cola® souvenir cup.

This should certainly curb people’s drinking if they have to pay as they go for alcohol.

So, it should make for a better atmosphere.

I have customers who avoid this type of short cruise because of the fact that everyone seems out to get as Drunk as they can.

What do you think?  Have you booked a 3-night cruise?  Are you annoyed or pleased at the announcement?

I would love to hear your thoughts either way?
