Put the Lime in the Coconut and drink it all up…

Norwegian Cruise lines opened the very first of its kind Bacardi Bar on its private island Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas this week during a visit from Norwegian Pearl.

“We are excited to announce the grand opening of the Bacardi Bar,” said Kevin Sheehan, Norwegian’s chief executive officer. “We are honoured to partner with Bacardi for the launch of our island’s newest bar. Bacardi’s rich history and quality beverage products are the perfect complement to our private island experience. We know that our guests are going to love spending time here during their visit to Great Stirrup Cay.”

Guests will be able to relax and enjoy the magnificent white sand beaches of the 250 acre private island as well as taking advantage of the delights that the Bacardi bar has to offer with its distinctly Cuban theme. The bar plays homage to its Cuban heritage and will be serving such classics as the ‘Cuba Libre’ and the ‘Bacardi Mojito’ my personal favourite. If you think you don’t like the mojito, think again as the bar will serve a plethora of different mojito creations with something for everyone’s taste.
