Celebrity Cruises will broadcast one of the most highly anticipated sporting events of the year, the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. Guests on board Celebrity ships sailing to Alaska, Bermuda and Europe can enjoy all 64 matches between more than 30 competing national teams. These events are taking place from 12th June 2014 for approximately one month.
The question is will people want to see it or are they going on a cruise to get away from it?
Celebrity are going all out to get guests in the Football Spirit as they are invited to join viewing parties, football video game tournaments and more, as well as choosing to watch the beautiful game from the comfort of their own stateroom or in on board bars with fellow holidaymakers and football fans.
Celebrity Cruises are keen to point out that guests can also enjoy the award-winning cuisine and speciality restaurants and if the sporty theme inspires them they can hit the on board gym or enjoy some rejuvenating downtime in one of ten new Canyon Ranch Spa Club at Sea facilities.
