Spectrum of the Seas…yes more exciting news from Royal Caribbean….

….with the first glimpses of what their new ship Spectrum of the Seas will have to offer when she is launched in 2019! As you know Royal Caribbean have their Quantum Class ships including Anthem of the Seas, Quantum of the Seas and Ovation of the Seas. Spectrum of the Seas won’t just be quantum class she will be the first Quantum Ultra Class ship!!!

According to Royal Caribbean we can expect Quantum Class features with lots more making Spectrum stand out as Quantum Ultra Class. I am excited to see what Royal Caribbean come up with next, they never cease to amaze me and I’m sure Spectrum is set to do just that.

So what do we know so far, well Spectrum will homeport in Asia and there will be some fantastic exotic itineraries to choose from.

On board there will some of the best features taken from the Quantum ships including the North Star, a pod that will take you 300 feet above sea level for the most amazing views!

Ripcord by IFly will also be on board, this would be on my list of things to do for sure. It’s a skydiving simulator at sea!! Where else would you find one of these but on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship.

The Bionic Bar which you may remember from my blog on Symphony of the Seas is another feature you will find on board Spectrum, a bar where you are served by robotic arms! No bartenders just robots!

Sometimes I wonder who comes up with these ideas…imagine being the person to think of one of these amazing innovations and eventually see it onboard a brand new ship, it has to be the best feeling and I have a feeling this Ultra ship is going to amaze us all!
